Call for Posters: ANJ’s 37th Annual Conference (2019)

Calling on Autism Researchers!!    Share your research findings at Autism New Jersey’s 37th Annual Conference taking place October 17th at Harrah’s Atlantic City.  This will be ASAT’s third year co-hosting the research poster session.

The deadline to submit a proposal online is July 15th. You will be informed of your acceptance/rejection in the poster session by August 15th. If you are the lead author of an approved poster, you will receive a 50% registration discount.  Additional details can be found at https://www.autismnj.org/education-training/annual-conference/

One component of the poster session will be dedicated exclusively to research involving adults with autism. Given that most people with autism are adult-age, there is limited research focusing on this ever-increasing segment of the autism community. We are delighted that Autism New Jersey and the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology will once again be providing a platform to showcase and nurture the efforts of researchers making an impact on adults with autism.

If you have at least one study participant aged 21 or older, your work will be eligible for the Adult Autism Research Poster Competition (sponsored by Rutgers GSAPP) and will be judged. You would need to share a file of your poster at the time of submission.  The winner of the Adult Research Poster Session will receive a $500 award and have his/her name announced during the keynote address.  A brief write up will also appear in the December 2019 issue of Science in Autism Treatment. Please check out the January 2019 issue for our spotlight on Jennifer M. Stracquadanio, the winner of last year’s Adult Autism Research Poster Competition.

We look forward to seeing your work!
