Follow ASAT on Instagram
To reach a broader audience, ASAT is now on Instagram! We will continue to advance ASAT’s mission to disseminate information about autism and its treatment. Instagram is a wonderful venue to do just that, as many parents, educators, and medical professionals use this platform regularly. An estimated 35% of users worldwide are under the age of 34, many of whom are the parents of newly diagnosed children with ASD. With over 500 treatments touted for autism, we hope to create and share content that will benefit and guide those in search of accurate, scientific, and evidence-based information regarding treatment. In the months ahead, we will upload weekly content and share resources that ASAT has to offer the community.
Posts include information about our monthly publication, Science in Autism Treatment, to showcase our new content. Our # WebsiteWednesdays posts guide readers to our online offerings on asatonline.org. Our # FlashbackFridays posts shine a spotlight on previously published pieces, highlighting over 10 years’ worth of informative content to share. We will post memes and quotations that reflect our values and our commitment to evidence-based practice and the delivery of high quality and ethical services. We will also share call to action posts to engage our Instagram followers to help keep science at the forefront of every conversation about autism treatment.
