ASAT is excited to announce that we have increased our presence on X, formerly known as Twitter. X is a versatile social media platform that allows us to share high-quality information about autism and its treatment with a diverse and global audience. Whether you are a student, an individual with autism, a parent of a newly diagnosed child with autism, or a seasoned provider, you will find something useful and among our posts on X.

One of the best features of X is the use of hashtags. Hashtags are words or phrases that help you find other posts and join conversations on topics that matter to you. For example, if you search for # StickwithScience, you will see all the posts that ASAT and others have made using this hashtag. This is a great way to discover and share evidence-based information about autism treatment.

We invite you to follow us on X and engage with our content. Our posts include information about our monthly publication, Science in Autism Treatment, its newly published content, ASAT memes, and announcements (e.g., upcoming webinars). Hashtags such as # WebsiteWednesdays and # FlashbackFridays have also been created to guide readers and spotlight previously published articles that were also reposted on our social media pages. You can reply, repost/retweet, favorite, and tag other users to spread the word and start a dialogue. You can also find us on other social media platforms, such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. We look forward to connecting with you on X and elsewhere.

In the sprit of helping make our X presence more successful and visible, here are a few things you can do to support this effort:

    • Follow ASAT on X.
    • Post about ASAT and our offerings and resources. In fact, any page on the ASAT website can be posted on X.
    • Encourage your social contacts to follow ASAT on X.
    • Repost/retweet ASAT’s posts that may be relevant to your followers.
    • Use hashtags # StickWithScience and # ScienceMatters to help us reach a broader audience.
    • Also follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook and share those pages with your family, friends, and colleagues.
