Our 2026 Professional Sponsorship Campaign:

David Celiberti, PhD, BCBA-D, Executive Director
Carolyn Sniezyk, MS, BCBA, Board Member and Sponsorship Lead
Association for Science in Autism Treatment

We invite you to consider becoming a sponsor of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT).

At ASAT, we believe that every person with autism deserves access to effective services and trustworthy information grounded firmly in scientific evidence. For nearly 30 years, we have worked to ensure that individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them can make informed decisions based on what research has shown to be effective and equally important, what has not.

Navigating the vast and often overwhelming landscape of autism interventions can be daunting. Families and providers are frequently confronted with conflicting information, hype, exaggerated claims, and treatments that lack meaningful scientific support. ASAT exists to bring clarity to that landscape. We are committed to promoting accurate, balanced, and accessible information so that individuals with autism receive interventions that truly improve quality of life.

Our vision is a world in which all individuals with autism — regardless of age, severity, geographic location, or financial resources — have equitable access to high-quality, evidence-based interventions. We are proud of the role we have played in advancing this vision, and we are equally committed to strengthening and expanding our impact in the years ahead.

Fortunately, we are not alone in this mission. A growing number of professional organizations and businesses share our concern about the proliferation of unsupported autism treatments and the challenges this creates for families and providers striving to make informed choices. Last year, more than 70 professional organizations participated in our sponsorship initiative, alongside a small but expanding group of community sponsors. Their partnership reflects a shared commitment to elevating science, strengthening ethical and compassionate practice, and ensuring that individuals with autism have access to interventions that are both responsible and effective.

Matching Gift Opportunity

We hope you will join this dedicated community of sponsors and help us continue advancing science-based information and meaningful change. We are especially pleased to share that one of ASAT’s founders has committed to a generous matching grant for any new organization that joins this year’s sponsorship campaign, effectively doubling the impact of the support. This matching opportunity allows your sponsorship to go twice as far in advancing science-based information, expanding our public awareness efforts, and ensuring that families and professionals have access to accurate, evidence-driven resources. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to amplify your commitment to responsible, science-supported care.

The Impact of Your Sponsorship

Professional sponsorship of ASAT does more than provide financial support — it signals a shared commitment to science, ethics, and responsible care within the autism community. The funds provided by the ASAT sponsors will help support several directed efforts undertaken by ASAT this year (e.g., distribution of Science in Autism Treatment at no charge to all recipients, maintenance and expansion of our information-packed website, and public awareness of the relevance of science across several social media platforms).

Professional Sponsorship Tenets

ASAT Professional Sponsors affirm their support for the following principles:

  1. All autism treatments should be guided by the best available scientific evidence.
  2. Service providers, across all disciplines, have a responsibility to rely on science-based treatments
  3. Providers should help consumers distinguish validated treatments from those lacking support.
  4. Consumers should be informed that treatments without scientific support should be approached with great caution, if at all.
  5. Clinical decisions should be guided by objective data and informed by client and family input at every stage of intervention.

The tasks of educating the public about scientifically validated interventions and countering pseudoscience are daunting ones; and ASAT appreciates the support of both our Professional and Community Sponsors.

If you are an organization or program involved in autism and are interested in becoming a professional sponsor, please click here. If you have any questions, please email us at sponsor@asatonline.org.

Disclaimer – ASAT does not have a formal relationship with sponsoring organizations beyond their sponsorship participation. Sponsors’ endorsement of the above tenets is not independently verified or monitored by ASAT. While ASAT expects sponsors to act in accordance with these principles, ASAT does not assume responsibility for ensuring that sponsoring organizations consistently adhere to them.
